A One Block Wonder is a quilt composed of kaleidoscope hexagons or octagons. It uses only one fabric or multiple panels for the main body of the quilt. This is what the one we are making in class looks like. In this class, we will use 7 panels to create this 70" x 80" quilt.

What quilters love about One Block Wonder is that they are always one-of-a-kind. Even if the same fabric or panel is used, no two quilters cut the same, so the quilts aren't identical. Quilters say they love the mystery and adventure of each One Block Wonder.

One Block Wonder is not a pattern, it is a technique. The hardest part of a One Block Wonder is selecting the fabric. We have taken that challenge out of the class for you by providing the kit with the required panels to make this quilt.

This is a two-day class from 10am - 5pm. The first class is on Friday, March 8 or Saturday, March 9. Come back and finish your quilt, Friday April 19 or Saturday, April 20.

There will be $35 per day for class payable directly to the teacher, Diana Simkins, on the day of your class.

Due to contractual agreements with our educators, all payments for classes/events are NON-REFUNDABLE. However, payments are transferable to another attendee at the event/class.
