This is a beginner class. In just eight three-hour classes, you will successfully finish your first quilt. In class, you will learn to machine piece, master half square triangles, apply borders and binding as well as quilting techniques. Participants will each receive a handbook with complete directions for each class. We will help you with selecting the fabric to make this quilt. $240 + material & supplies bought at Prickly Pear Quilts, 10% discount on material & supplies. Space is limited so call and sign up today! If material bought elsewhere its $400 for the class. Don't let a rainy day get you down! Make a unique/Designer, waterproof 48" umbrella with fabrics of your choosing to brighten any day. They are fun to make and use, plus they make great gifts! Once you make one, you will want to make more! Most supplies, including the wood handles, are included in the cost of the class except purchasing your fabric. Patterns and handles will be available for child and doll umbrellas and the instructor will provide additional handles and waterproofing spray for purchase on the day of class.You will need to bring a sewing machine, sewing supplies and be willing to have fun making this umbrella! Supply sheet available at PPQ.

Embroidery Pumpkin Class EPC

These Stuffed Pumpkin ornaments are absolutely gorgeous! This is a in the hoop (ITH) machine embroidery design. There are three different pumpkin segment designs as well as a leaf design included. Each pumpkin is constructed using six segments (you can mix and match the three designs to make up the pumpkins). The panels are joined using a regular sewing machine and they can then be stuffed before sealing them with a small amount of hand stitching or fabric glue (~4-5"). The designs come six sizes for the 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7, 8x8 and 9x9 hoops. You will receive all sizes with your purchase.
