Beginner Quilting Class – Make Your First Quilt! - BQC
Starts Thursday, January 29, 11 am – 2:30, and ends March 26, OR Thursday evenings, 5:30 pm 8:30 pm
Ready to begin your quilting journey? In just eight sessions, you’ll complete your very first quilt from start to finish! This beginner-friendly class will guide you through:
- Accurate cutting/ruler tips
- Machine piecing techniques
- Mastering half-square triangles
- Adding borders and binding
- Basic quilting methods
Each participant will receive a handbook with step-by-step instructions for every class. Plus, we’ll help you choose the perfect fabric for your quilt!
Cost:
- Enjoy a 15% discount on materials and supplies bought at PPQ.
- If you need an inexpensive machine to get started, we can help you with that purchase, too! We will guide you through purchasing a machine that ensures you have a machine ready to quilt.
- Important Note: Books, patterns, and required supplies must be purchased individually to comply with copyright regulations. One week before class, students will meet with Cheri or Connie for a pre-class on fabric options and supplies.
