Learn the process of turning t-shirts into a display of memories. In this hands-on class, you will learn how to lay out your quilt, cut apart t-shirts, iron on stabilizer, precisely cut the t-shirts for quilt placement, and sew the shirts together with sashing and border (optional). $25 + book and stabilizer.

Beginning Quilt Class

Thursdays, Beginning April 8, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm 

This is a beginner class. In just eight three-hour classes, you will successfully finish your first quilt. In class, you'll learn to machine piece, master half square triangles, apply borders and binding as well as quilting techniques. Participants will each receive a handbook with complete directions for each class and will pick out the fabric of their choice from Prickly Pear Quilts. $150 + material & supplies, 10% discount on material & supplies. This BOM kit may be purchased and sewn on your own or you can participate in three monthly ruler and sewing technique classes designed to help you learn the basics needed to complete this project. The cost of the Starry Night seven month Block of the Month is $27.99+ shipping per monthly installment. If you choose to participate in the technique class, add an additional $20 each month, for three months.

Registration begins March 10, 2021. In the first shipment, you will receive fabric for block 1, the ruler and pattern. Month 1 cost is $99.99+ shipping.

Each month thereafter, the cost will be $27.99+ shipping. Local customers that choose to purchase online, click on Store Pick Up when checking out and there will be no shipping charge.

 Block of the Month programs are charged on the 15th of the month and available for pick up or will be sent out on the 15th of each month for the next 6 months (April 15 - October 15)

Hot Stuff Travel Case
Tuesday, May 4, 5:30pm to 8:30pm



No more waiting to pack your bags! Learn to create a designer silicone travel case for a flat iron or curling iron. The silicone insert has an interior raised surface for added heat resistance. Your finished case will have a separate pocket for the cord. After completing your case, you can remove the silicone to protect the surface under your hot hair accessory. Refill silicone inserts available if you want to make more. $25.00 for the class plus pattern and supplies.
