What's in the Bag Contest!
Bags available Jan 6 - 21. Order here or in the store
Purchase a "What's in the bag" and use the ingredients to make an inspired project! Completed projects may be made into anything from quilts to pillows, bags, table runners, and placemats. You're only limited by your imagination!
Sign up today to reserve your bag. Pick up your bag between January 6 - January 21, 2023, take it home, and let the creativity begin. All projects are due to PPQ on or before April 1, 2023.
The projects will then be displayed in the store for a select amount of time for visitors to vote on their favorite project. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place. Projects must use at least one of the fabrics included in the bag but may be combined with anything from your stash to show your style. Submitted projects must be finished i.e., quilted, bound, etc.

Beginning Quilt Class Thursdays, January 26 - March 16, 11am - 2:30pm only a couple spots left
This is a beginner class. In just eight three-hour classes, you will successfully finish your first quilt. In class, you will learn to machine piece, master half square triangles, apply borders and binding as well as quilting techniques. Participants will each receive a handbook with complete directions for each class. This class is scheduled monthly from Noon to 9pm, this will allow you to come and go as you wish. The instructor will be here during this time to help you when you arrive. In the world of machine embroidery, there is always so much to learn! It is fun to unlock the potential of your embroidery software. And it is fun to join with other embroiderers, learning from each other and becoming inspired with new ideas. Join this class and increase your knowledge about particular software programs and explore new techniques and projects. This class will be offered monthly with different projects each month. Barn Quilts Made Easy Saturday, February 4, 10am - 4:30pm
Join us for a fun filled day creating barn quilts using paint and tape. This class is intended to be fun! Not stressful or difficult! Learn the techniques that will allow you to create beautiful wooden quilts that can be enjoyed inside or outside. In class, you will be painting on plywood that has been prepared for you. We will also provide you a choice of quilt block patterns to choose from in order to keep it simple and stress free. Choose your own colors from instructor provided paint or instructor will help you with your design. Class Supplies: Paint and Plywood will be provided by instructor. You Will Need to Bring: 8" or 12" ruler (6" square works well too) X-Acto Knife with new blade Hair dryer or heat gun Foam brushes 1" and 2" (several of each) Artist paint brushes in multiple sizes (Can be used continuously after cleaning each time) Lunch, snacks, drinks and a willingness to have fun! Requires 12 hoopings. Twelve blocks can be stitched completely in the hoop, and then joined together with your sewing machine. The backing and the binding are added with your sewing machine.
