March Classes
One Block Wonder, Nature View
Sample available to view at PPQ. You have to see it to appreciate it's beauty.
Friday, March 8 or Saturday, March 9. Finish Quilt, Friday April 19 or 20 This is a two-day class, 10am – 5pm

A One Block Wonder is a quilt composed of kaleidoscope hexagons or octagons. It uses only one fabric or multiple panels for the main body of the quilt. This is what the one we are making in class looks like. In this class, we will use 7 panels to create this 70” x 80” quilt.
Beautiful northwestern wildlife in moody colors displays the beauty of this One Block Wonder. If you are a nature lover or have one in your life, this is the quilt for you!
What quilters love about One Block Wonder is that they are always one-of-a-kind. Even if the same fabric or panel is used, no two quilters cut the same, so the quilts aren't identical. Quilters say they love the mystery and adventure of each One Block Wonder.
One Block Wonder is not a pattern, it is a technique. The hardest part of a One Block Wonder is selecting the fabric. We have taken that challenge out of the class for you by providing the kit with the required panels to make this quilt. The cost for this class is $163.99 and includes 7 panels and binding, mirror and book. Additional supplies needed. List is at PPQ. There is a $35 per day instruction cost in addition to class and is payable directly to the instructor.
