Continuous Bias Binding Class

Friday, November 8, 10 am – 2 pm

Love the look of bias binding?  A striped fabric design on the diagonal creates a fun and beautiful look. Take the mystery out of continuous bias binding in this four-hour class while sewing and binding a beautiful placemat.

This binding method works great when creating scalloped and curved borders, appliqued stems, purses, potholders, and craft projects.

Learn to Wax Canvas/Cotton and Create

the Crescent Tote Class

Wednesday, November 13, 10 am – 5 pm

Learn how easy it is to make a tote from waxed canvas. It can be challenging to find waxed canvas designs you like, not to mention that waxed canvas is expensive. Students in this class will choose one pre-waxed canvas to create their bags. They will also learn how to wax canvas and fabric for future bags and the necessary supplies. The class includes the kit for the tote bag - canvas, lining, zippers, interfacing, and webbing.

Class $75. Includes pattern, wax, canvas fabric, lining, zippers, webbing and interfacing

Join Julie Dess for a Trunk Show and a Hunter’s Star Christmas Table Runner Class Using Quiltsmart Interfacing

         Saturday, November 23, 10 am - 3 pm Class

On Friday, enjoy an evening with Julie viewing beautiful projects made using Quiltsmart interfacing and learning about all the projects Quiltsmart offers. Refreshments will be provided along with fun and fellowship!

On Saturday, Julie will teach you just how easy Quiltsmart products are to use when creating traditionally challenging blocks like the Hunter Star.
