Beginning Quilt Class Our first class will be on Wednesday, January 29, thereafter, classes will be held on Thursdays, February 6 – March 20, 11 am – 2:30 and 5:30 pm – 8: 30 pm

This is a beginner class. In just eight three-hour classes, you will successfully finish your first quilt. In class, you will learn to machine piece, master half square triangles, apply borders and binding, and quilting techniques. Once you make a one-of-a-kind pair of sneakers, you will certainly want to make more for yourself or as gifts! Quilting cotton or batiks is the easiest fabric to work with but lightweight denim, cotton canvas, chambray, and bottom-weight linens are also good choices. Don't let a rainy day get you down! Make a unique/Designer, waterproof 48" umbrella with fabrics of your choosing to brighten any day. They are fun to make and use, plus they make great gifts! Once you make one, you will want to make more! Most supplies, including the wood handles, are included in the cost of the class except purchasing your fabric.
